Mehmet Ali Ağca’s former fiancée, 33-year-old Rabia Özden Kazan, married 47-year-old Italian lawyer Giacinto Licursi in Rome yesterday. The couple, who met in Rome three years ago and decided to marry, had their marriage witnessed by Reha Erus, the Hürriyet Italy correspondent. At the wedding, Rabia Kazan wore a $10,000 wedding dress by the famous fashion designer Cemil İpekçi. Kazan and her husband will go to Los Angeles for their honeymoon. Despite all the efforts of her husband Licursi, whom Rabia Özden met while taking language courses in Italy, her father Kazan did not soften, nor did he allow anyone from the family to attend the wedding. Licursi, a member of the Italian Communist Party, had converted to Islam after getting engaged to Kazan. It was also stated that Licursi would be circumcised.
