I was born on the 21st of February 1977.

Because my father worked at İSKİ (Istanbul Water and Sewerage Administration), I spent my childhood in housing. In the first years I remember, we were in the housing in Kağıthane, in an area known as İdare (Administration). Later, we lived in the İSKİ housing at the Alibeyköy Dam. I see the many benefits of spending my childhood here that I will later understand. It was here that I learned the importance of soil and the taste of homegrown fruits and vegetables.

In the early 1990s, when I was only 14, I got my first computer. It was an ULTRA Computer brand that we bought from ASKOM Computer in Bayazıt. It had a 5.25-inch floppy drive and no hard drive. This was a turning point in my life. Along with my computer, I started reading the magazines published in those days. My earliest memory is Computer Market magazine. It was printed on straw paper and published stacks of Basic code.

My father wanted me to study at a vocational high school. The economy was not good at that time, and I needed to get into business immediately and support my family. I graduated from the Electrical Department.

I started my first real job in February 1995. I started repairing Riso brand printing machines at Bormas A.Ş. (Bormas Inc.). A year later, I left and started working at IKON Bilgisayar A.Ş. (Ikon Bilgisayar A.Ş.). I was going to repair printing machines again there, but after a while, this department closed, and I started providing computer service. From there, I transferred to Bormak Computer. I left in 1997 because I was about to complete my military service.

I began my military service in Gaziemir, Izmir, and completed it there as well.

After returning from military service in August 1998, I couldn’t find a job for a while. In April 1999, I started working at Doğan Burda Inc.

I started as a Hardware Support Staff and worked as a System Administrator at Doğan Burda until 2016.

When my beloved director, Servet Kavasoğlu (may God have mercy on him), was promoted, I worked as Assistant Technical Manager at Doğan Burda.

After Mr. Servert’s death, nothing was the same for me at the company. I decided to retire. I retired from Doğan Burda.

Arif Mustafa Güldoğan and I founded a company called Yonga Bilişim. Partnerships were difficult. Our partnership dissolved after two years. I handed the company over to Mustafa.

I founded a new company called IT Biz. This company continues to operate.
