How to make flower perfume?

Women collecting jasmine flowers

After the flowers (such as rose, lavender, jasmine, mimosa) collected from the gardens arrive at the perfume factories, they remain in large ventilation rooms for three to four weeks. The well-ventilated flowers are placed in a special machine. This machine, working with an absorption system, separates the flower petals and sends them to the room where the scent will be extracted. The worker in the fragrance room must use their hands like the antennae of a bee.

The worker meticulously separates the petals that have not spoiled or rotted and presses them into containers filled with a mixture of specially purified hog and internal fat. The mixture is left for a period until it is saturated with the fragrance.
The orange blossom buds contained within this mixture prevent it from turning sour or rancid. This process yields a beautifully scented pomade.
This obtained pomade is thoroughly kneaded in blenders. It is then placed into containers containing 90° alcohol. The alcohol dissolves the pomade, extracting the fragrance from the fat. Finally, the alcohol is also evaporated, leaving the essential oil (essence) at the bottom of the container. To obtain one kilogram of essence, 8,300,000 flowers are used.
